CBB61 can be seen everywhere in our lives, such as AC motors, ceiling fans, home depots, etc. But if its quality is good or bad, would you notice it? The detection of the quality of CBB61 capacitor mainly relies on three core methods: visual inspection, capacity testing, and withstand voltage testing. The measurement of capacity and withstand voltage is a key indicator for judging its performance.
1. Visual inspection.
Appearance inspection: Observe for bulges, cracks, broken pins, and clear markings.
2. Capacity detection.
Using LCR bridge or digital multimeter:
Select capacitance measurement mode (the range should cover the nominal value of CBB61)
After fully discharging the capacitor, test the capacity at a frequency of 1KHz.
3. Voltage withstand test.
DC withstand voltage method:
Use a voltage tester to apply a direct current of twice the rated voltage to the capacitor and maintain it for 60 seconds.
If the leakage current is <1mA and no breakdown phenomenon, it is qualified.
