Carbon Film Resistor Structure
Carbon film resistor is a kind of film resistor. It is a resistor formed by depositing a layer of carbon film on the ceramic skeleton from the crystalline carbon decomposed by hydrocarbons under high temperature and vacuum. The resistance is controlled by controlling the thickness of the carbon film and etching the film. The external surface of the resistor is generally coated with green or orange protective paint.

Metal film resistor is a resistor that sprays a metal film onto a ceramic substrate and then cuts it into a spiral. SMD metal film precision resistor (full English name: Metal Film Precision Resistor), that is, metal film resistor is also called wafer resistor in China due to its cylindrical shape without leads. The length, thickness and width of the metal helix determine the precise resistance value. Metal film resistors provide more accurate resistance values than other types of film resistors (carbon film resistors). Like carbon film resistors, metal film resistors are little affected by temperature changes and aging. They also make little noise inside. In terms of overall performance, metal film resistor is the best type, followed by carbon film resistor, followed by carbon composite resistor.

Cement ceramic resistor is a resistor sealed with refractory mud (commonly known as cement, actually not cement).
The outer side of the cement resistance is mainly made of ceramic materials (generally divided into high alumina porcelain and feldspar porcelain).
Cement Resistors Characteristic:
1. Shock resistance, moisture resistance, heat resistance, good heat dissipation, low price and other characteristics.
2. Fully insulated, suitable for printed circuit boards.

1. Metal Film Resistor
It has the characteristics of low noise, high temperature resistance, small size, high stability and precision.
The disadvantage is that the price is more expensive than carbon film resistance.
2. Carbon Film Resistor
